XPeng [NYSE: XPEV] Reports March and First Quarter 2021 Vehicle Delivery Result

XPeng Inc. [NYSE: XPEV] has disclosed the vehicle delivery results for the month of March and the first quarter of 2021. XPEV revealed that it has achieved outstanding results in vehicle deliveries in the first quarter. XPeng has got a strong growth momentum even though the cyclical industry-wide deceleration in car sales.

XPeng revealed the reason behind the strong deliveries and its robust growth. The reason is the increasing appreciation of its brand and product attraction. Furthermore, the growing product portfolio and its persistent efforts in expanding sales, advertising, and boosting service networks across China.

First Quarter 2021 Delivery Result

XPEV revealed that in the first quarter of 2021 it has delivered 13,340 Smart EVs. This groundbreaking achievement signifies the 487% increase YOY. XPeng is also intending to uncover its third production model in the second quarter of 2021. It has scheduled the deliveries for the fourth quarter of 2021.

Vehicle Delivery Result in March

XPEV disclosed it has delivered 5,102 Smart EVs in March 2021. Out of 5,102 vehicles, XPEV has delivered 2,247 G3s, its smart compact SUV, and 2,855 P7s. P7s are the sports smart sedan of the firm. The delivery of EVs in March has represented an increase of 130% from the earlier month and the 384% YOY increase.

Furthermore, it has been disclosed by the China-based auto manufacturer that the firm has attained the target of supplying aggregated 50,000 Smart EVs. It has also commenced shipments of its P7 Wing edition which was uncovered in November the previous year. The firm has also uncovered lithium iron phosphate, or LFP, battery-operated G3 SUVs and P7 sedans in China. XPEV is expecting the shipments to commence in April and May, respectively.

Additionally, XPeng has also executed the longest independent driving mission in March. The expedition is powered by its patented Navigation Guided Pilot. XPEV has also set the records for independent driving in the manufacture car classification.
