Elon Musk’s SpaceX to Roll Out Dogecoin-Backed Satellite to the Moon in 2022

Elon Musk’s SpaceX has decided to recognize Dogecoin as payment to roll out its “DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon”. The mission is going to introduce by SpaceX in the Q1 of 2022. Geometric Energy Corporation has disclosed the development in the mission previously on Sunday. The firm has not revealed the financial value of the mission.

Geometric Energy Corporation disclosed that the DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon is the first of its kind commercial lunar payload. It is to be paid completely with DOGE will be rolled out aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. SpaceX Vice President of Commercial Sales Tom Ochinero stated: “This mission will indicate the application of cryptocurrency away from Earth orbit and laid the groundwork for space commerce.”

Furthermore, Geometric Energy Corporation’s DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon will include the Geometric Space Corporation (GSC) mission management working together with SpaceX to roll out a 40kg cubesat as rideshare on a Falcon 9 lunar payload mission in Q1 2022. Additionally, the payload will receive lunar-spatial intelligence from sensors and cameras onboard with unified communications and computing systems.

Additionally, this mission has indicated the importance of Dogecoin. DOGE has been proven to be rapid, trusted, and encrypted safe digital currency. It works when conventional banks cannot and is advanced enough to fund a commercial Moon mission in full. Furthermore, Elon Musk also took to Twitter to disclose the news. He wrote: “SpaceX roll out satellite Doge-1 to the moon next year. Mission paid for in Doge. 1st crypto in space. 1st meme in space.”
